  • Visit the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, home to 80 endangered black rhino
  • Visit Karen Blixen’s House & Museum – the home of the author of Out of Africa
  • Go to Kanderi Swamp – home to a resident pride of lions and elephants
  • Visit Bio-Ken Snake Farm & Laboratory – one of the world’s most famous snake research centres – Go on a snake safari – Kenya is home to 100 different species of snakes
  • Visit Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary – home to 150 elephants
  • Spot crocodiles and hippo at Mzima Springs
  • Climb Nugulia Hills for a view of the Rhino Valley
  • Go on a cheese tour at Brown’s Cheese factory in Nairobi
  • Explore the Gedi Ruins – an abandoned city tucked with a forest on the coast of Kenya
  • See the Marafa Depression – an unusual canyon called “the place broken by itself”
  • Visit Kitengela – a glass fantasy land in the middle of the desert – an abundance of colourful dragons and butterflies sculptures all built with recycled materials
  • Ride an ostrich at Maasai Ostrich Farm
  • Explore the Nairobi Railway Museum
